It’s official: I am beginning my journey as a self-employed communications professional. After ten-years in the nonprofit space, you may wonder what would make me want to leave.
Well, for starters: My husband and I are moving. I loved the career I launched while in Colorado, but the in-person job isn’t something I can take with me. So it got me thinking: What would I do if I wasn’t afraid to fail?
This is it.

Launching a Business
I believe strongly that Christians ought to be leaders in excellence when it comes to marketing and communications. Yet, I’ve experienced the constraints that small businesses and nonprofits deal with, firsthand. My mission is to help catalyze excellence—either through communications services or via an empowering coaching model—for the “little guys.”
Here’s the thing: I don’t like “selling.” The only reason I’m willing to do this is because I authentically believe I can amplify messaging for organizations—providing measurable success that more than outweighs the investment in my services. If I didn’t believe that, I wouldn’t be where I am.
How You Can Help
As I build up my clientele, I would be honored if you prayed for me. If you or someone you know would benefit from guidance on leveling up their communications game—from digital advertising to brand clarity strategy—please pass my name along.
I am building my business model on services (“I’ll do it for ya!) and coaching (“I’ll help you get there!”). The latter will include a few four-week courses on brand voice and content planning that will be opportunities to work one-on-one with me via coaching, live Zoom calls, and email check-ins. That paid opportunity (and perhaps a premium newsletter) are in the works. I tell you this so I can know: Are you interested in any or all of the above? Even if you’re not, please help me bring excellence to more faith-based businesses and organizations by sharing this post and my website.
